Inbound Logistic CoordinatorThe challenge

We are looking for an experienced Inbound Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our logistics team in Haier Europe.
The candidate will be expected to monitor expenses, anticipate risks, understand issues raised by brokers, and proactively support solutions to speed up inbound delivery flows.
In particular, the resource:
Produce daily/weekly/monthly inbound transportation plans and share them with 4PL, logistics providers and last-mile carriers.
Supervise the full inbound flow from port to warehouse, ensuring alignment with priorities, service expectations, and customer unloading capacity.
Monitor and control Freight-In logistics costs, including Demurrage & Detention, port storage, customs-related charges and inland transportation.
Manage direct delivery flows to customers, balancing allocation priorities with operational constraints.
Anticipate and manage customs-related issues with customs brokers to ensure compliance and expedite logistics flow.
Coordinate invoicing, delivery planning and loading capabilities with OTD (order-to-delivery), Local Demand Planning, HQ Logistics, suppliers and 3PL partners.
Act as a key business stakeholder in the design, enhancement and rollout of the new corporate TMS.
Collect and analyze large volumes of logistics and customs data from brokers, shipping lines, 4PL and other providers, building clear and actionable dashboards for management.
Monitor inbound KPIs, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives across customs, port clearance, inland transport and warehouse inbound flows.
Ensure service levels and delivery timings are met, escalating risks proactively and proposing alternative solutions.
What you need to succeed
Must have
A strong background in international transportation, preferably gained in shipping lines, customs brokers, freight forwarders, or 4PL providers
An understanding of customs processes, international transport flows, and port operations is essential, even though the role will not directly execute customs clearance activities
Someone skilled on the systems and data side, able to collect, normalize and correlate data coming from multiple sources (brokers, carriers, freight forwarders) and transform them into clear, actionable dashboards for management
Understanding of international transport, customs procedures, port operations and logistics flows
Education: Degree in management engineering, Economics or similar
Professional experience: 5+ years of experience in inbound logistics (mandatory), preferably gained within shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokerage firms or 4PL environments.
Language: Fluency in Italian, and English.
Soft skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across different functions.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, and experience with Power Query or similar data structuring tools
Analytical mindset, ability to work with large datasets and generate actionable insights.
