Seeking highly skilled Test Automation Lead to drive the development and execution of automated test frameworks and test benches. This role requires designing, developing, automating, executing, and maintaining test cases, ensuring quality through reviews, and writing tests alongside the team.
Responsibilities:
Provide 3 -5 major responsibilities of the role and identify key activities within each area. Indicate the percentage (%) of time normally spent on each major responsibility with the total equaling 100%.
Test Planning & Strategy. Collaborate with Customer team and other stakeholders to align the test scope, timelines, and deliverables. 20 %
Functional Testing Execution. Design and execute functional smoke, regression, and change-based tests for migrated applications. 20%
Defect Management. Log, track, and retest defects using Azure DevOps (ADO) /TestRail or similar. 20%
Documentation & Reporting. Maintain test artifacts including test cases, test data, and execution reports. 10%
Automation & DevOps Integration. Enhance and maintain scripts for end-to-end testing. 10 %
Enhance internal development and design practices, while ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date 5%
Build and strengthen internal relationships, actively contributing to the growth of your PwC brand 10%
Invest in continuous personal development, aligning skills with company and team strategy. 5%
Qualifications

Education & Professional Certification (Required and/or Preferred)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical/ETCE
ISTQB Test Automation, Test Manager.
Azure Fundamentals (AZ 900).
Work Experience
What is the minimum required level of experience the incumbent would need to perform this job?
Overall experience between 6-12 years
Strong experience in QA/testing roles, preferably in cloud migration projects.
4+ years of experience as QA Lead
Experience of working in all phases of application or solution development and successful implementation.
Technical Skills & Specialized Knowledge
Provide details on any specialized and technical skills set required to perform the job.
Test execution and experience of using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and custom scripts.
Undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting of issues.
Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and quality metrics.
Integrate functional validation into CI/CD pipelines for automated post-deployment checks.
Leveraging GenAI to optimize automation test development and reduce test execution time.
Strong understanding of functional testing methodologies and QA lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestRail, ADO).
Expertise in automation tools Selenium, Playwright.
Experience with API testing and automation using JMeter.
Proficiency in scripting languages – Java, python (preferred) for test automation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and DevOps practices.
Must have:
Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress, Git/Github Version Control, Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g. Azure), Implementation of Gen AI for test case & test data generation.
Nice to have:
Copilot and Latest GenAI usage, Familiarity with containerization platforms like Docker, CI/CD
