Job Description & Summary: A career within….
Responsibilities:
· Functional Design & Configuration · Gather requirements, map business processes, and design FIT/Gap in PP & QM. · Configure PP: BOM, Routings/Recipes, Work Centers/Resources, Production Versions, MRP (MD01N), Planning Strategies, Production/Process Orders, Repetitive Manufacturing, Backflushing, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Co-products/by-products. · Configure QM: Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, Sampling Procedures, MICs, Results Recording, UD (Usage Decision), Quality Notifications (Q1/Q2/Q3), Certificates, Vendor/Customer QM, In-Process & Final Inspection. · Set up Control Keys, Shop Floor Papers, and Fiori apps for PP/QM operations. · Integration & Cross-Functional Alignment · Integrate PP/QM with MM (materials, batch management), SD (ATP/confirmations), PM (maintenance-related inspections), WM/EWM (staging, GI/GR, HU), FI/CO (costing, variances), PP-DS (if applicable), and MES/LIMS. · Support serial numbers/batch tracing, quality certificates in delivery, and vendor managed quality. · Data & Analytics · Drive master data governance: Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Inspection Plans, Q-info records. · Build Embedded Analytics/CDS views and KPIs around yield, rework, scrap, OEE, inspection backlog, lead times. · Enable Fiori operational dashboards for shop floor and quality teams. · Project Delivery · Lead SAP Activate phases: Explore → Realize → Deploy; author BPDs, WRICEF specs, test scripts (SIT/UAT), cutover plans, and user training. · Collaborate with ABAP on enhancements, user exits/BADIs, and interfaces (IDocs, OData, APIs). · Run & Optimize · Provide L2/L3 support for PP/QM incidents & changes; own root cause analysis and continuous improvement. · Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (Auto), cGMP/FDA 21 CFR Part 11 (Pharma), or sector-specific standards as applicable. · master data: Functional Locations, Equipment, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, BOMs, Measuring Points, and Work Centers. · Customize notification and work order processes. · Integrate SAP PM with other modules like MM, PP, QM, and FICO. · 2. Business Process Analysis · Conduct workshops to gather business requirements.
· Analyze current maintenance processes and identify areas for improvement. · Design and document functional specifications and blueprints. · 3. Support & Optimization · Provide day-to-day support for SAP PM users. · Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs. · Monitor system performance and suggest enhancements. · Train end-users and create user manuals. · 4. Project Management · Lead or support SAP PM-related projects and rollouts. · Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. · Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. · 5. Reporting & Compliance · Develop and maintain KPIs and reports for maintenance performance. · Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. · Support Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) and cost tracking for maintenance activities. ·
