Job description:

Automation Tester - Advanced with AI knowledge 

We are looking for experienced software testers with: 
*strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
*willingness and to learn new technologies, tools and adapt to changing project requirements 
*ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines 
*good verbal and written communication skills 
*ability to work collaboratively in a team setting 

Responsibilities 

Key responsibilities include: 
*Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI, APIs and backend systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality. 
*Design and implement automation solutions powered by AI and machine learning. Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for automation and develop robust architecture. 
*Understand and analyze requirements/specifications/acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios 
*Design comprehensive test cases based on the test scenarios identified 
*Execute functional test cases to validate the functionalities; identify, document, and report defects in appropriate tracking tools 
*Perform regression/load/performance testing to ensure changes to the applications do not adversely affect existing functionalities 
*Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, defect reports and relevant testing metrics 
*Collaborate with test leads, development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues 
*Build and maintain test automation frameworks/test scripts to facilitate automated testing 
*Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing 

Certifications/Credentials 

*ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) 
*ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTAL-TA) 
*ISTQB Test Automation Engineering (CTAL-TAE) 
*SAFe Agile 
*UI/API Automation frameworks related certification from Linkedin/Udemy/Coursera/UKTB 
*GenAI certifications related to use of AI agents,MCP servers,genai llm endpoints. 

Mandatory skill sets:

*API Tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured), Automation Frameworks 
*Strong understanding of Playwright or Selenium WebDriver for browser automation 
*Knowledge of Selenium Grid for distributed test execution 
* Proficient in programming language used with Selenium preferably C#/Java 
Understanding of LLM models and their use for test automation framework development 
Understanding of RAGAs framework (Nice to have) 
*Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit (for Java), NUnit (for C#), or PyTest/UnitTest (for Python). 
*Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively work with web-based applications. 
*Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management. 
*Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline. 
*Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA etc. for defect tracking. 
*Understanding of RESTful services and experience with tools like Postman or RestAssured for API testing. 
*Basic SQL knowledge to perform database validations and queries for data verification 
*Experience in cross-browser testing and understanding of browser compatibility issues 
*Familiarity with performance/load testing and related tools e.g. JMeter, MS Load Test 
*Automate mobile testing using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest. 
*Exposure to Agile methodology 

Preferred Skill sets:
