Job Description & Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure enterprise blockchain based software functionality meets business requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ability to develop and follow Test Driven Development approach.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs, regressions, and areas for improvement.
- Debug software products through testing and log analysis, pinpointing specific issues for the development team.
- Implement and manage test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Report, prioritize, and track defects and ensure timely resolution by working closely with the development team.
- Validate fixes and improvement patches, performing thorough regression testing.
- Ensure the quality of software releases and provide insights to enhance product performance.
- Continuously improve testing processes, introducing new tools and practices.
- Monitor and uphold quality standards across all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Provide detailed test reports and feedback on product quality to stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience with testing tools like Apache JMeter, Selenium, SonarQube or similar.
- Knowledge of testing Blockchain based applications using tools such as Hyperledger Caliper or others.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used in testing (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Good to have experience Blockchain based smart contract audit.
- Knowledge of defect tracking and test case management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with web and mobile application testing.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
- Experience with testing tools like Apache JMeter, Selenium, SonarQubetesting
- Blockchain based applications using tools such as Hyperledger Caliper or others.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used in testing (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
