Job Description & Summary
Objective of the Role:
you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
*Responsibilities:
• Integration Delivery
1. Design, build, and deploy iFlows in SAP CPI (Process Integration Suite), using HTTP, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc, RFC, JMS, and event-driven patterns.
2. Implement mapping (XSLT, Message Mapping, Groovy scripts) and error handling, retries, and alerting.
• Migration & Upgradation
1. Assess and migrate legacy integrations (SAP PI/PO, Boomi, MuleSoft, custom) to SAP CPI with minimal downtime.
2. Upgrade CPI artifacts to latest adapters, libraries, policies, and security standards (OAuth2, TLS, JWT, SAML).
3. Remediate deprecated features, optimize performance, and replatform on Integration Suite where applicable (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Architecture & Governance
1. Define integration architecture, canonical models, and API-first design principles.
2. Establish DevOps pipelines for CPI (transport management, CTS+, CI/CD, Git), versioning & release management.
3. Implement observability (logging, tracing, custom dashboards), alerting, and SLAs.
• Quality & Compliance
1. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR) across integrations.
2. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and penetration-hardening for endpoints and adapters.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
1. Work closely with functional teams (FI/CO, MM/SD, HR, Procurement), Basis/SecOps, and business owners.
2. Prepare design documents, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials; support hypercare.
