Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced MuleSoft Architect with 10+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and proven experience in defining scalable architectures, deployment strategies, and end-to-end integration solutions while ensuring adherence to MuleSoft best practices and governance standards. Hands-on experience integrating banking systems such as core banking, payment gateways, and regulatory platforms using MuleSoft is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and implementation of API-led connectivity using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
· Define reusable integration patterns and API specifications (RAML/OpenAPI)
· Build and manage APIs and microservices using MuleSoft (Mule 4.x, DataWeave)
· Integrate cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, SAP) and third-party systems
· Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes
· Establish API governance, lifecycle management, and analytics
· Implement security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS)
· Drive API monetization and consumption strategies
· Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and DevOps teams
· Troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime
· Continuously improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
Mandatory skill sets:
· Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including integration development, API-led connectivity, and application network design.
· Hands-on experience with MuleSoft platform administration, performance tuning, and security best practices.
· Proven ability to design and architect scalable integration solutions using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
· Deep understanding of integration needs within industrial manufacturing or similar complex enterprise environments.
· Strong skills in requirements gathering, solution structuring, and estimation/resource planning for integration projects.
· Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and driving execution excellence.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
· Relevant MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
· Knowledge of IBM App Connect is also required.
