Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
Experienced Techno-functional Finance Transformation Business Analyst to lead and support digital transformation initiatives within the finance function. This role requires a blend of finance domain expertise, technology implementation experience across various finance process areas, and change management skills.
The ideal candidate would have hands-on experience in process re-engineering, automation, finance technology implementation and overall project management, with a proven ability to drive organizational change and deliver measurable outcomes.
Mandatory skill sets:
Digital Transformation
Drive end-to-end finance transformation programs, including process re-engineering, vendor selection, automation, and system optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for digitization and efficiency improvements including evaluation of tools and platforms
Business Analysis & Solution Design
Gather and analyze business requirements for finance systems and processes
Translate requirements into functional specifications and ensure alignment with business stakeholders
Work closely with product owners and technology teams in developing the design.
Technology Implementation
Lead the project management office for implementation of processes automation and related finance technologies
Report on various types of testing with business stakeholders including data migration, system interfaces, and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ensure cutover planning, post-go-live support, stabilization, and hyper-care activities are executed effectively
Project Management & Stakeholder Management
Establish project milestone and governance frameworks using Agile PMO practices and report progress to senior leadership
Work with multi-geography stakeholders to manage risks, issues, and dependencies for a finance transformation program
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status reports, and business cases
Preferred skill sets:
Experience: 7-10 years in finance transformation roles with process automation and other related technology implementation projects
Proven track record in:
Leading finance process automation and other related technology implementations
Driving change management and stakeholder engagement
Managing PMO activities for large-scale transformation programs
Strong understanding of finance processes (any of the following - O2C, P2P, R2R, FP&A) and linked upstream processes around PR-PO, Sourcing.
Certification in Project Management (PMP / Prince2) or Scrum, Safe Agile or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of finance automation tools is a plus
