Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader with deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to drive digital transformation in supply chain and warehouse operations. The Director will oversee solution strategy, delivery excellence, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring SAP EWM implementations align with business objectives and global best practices.

Responsibilities

· Strategic Leadership

o Define and execute SAP EWM roadmap aligned with organizational supply chain strategy.

o Provide thought leadership on warehouse automation, optimization, and digital innovation.

· Solution Delivery & Governance

o Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM).

o Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and compliance standards for warehouse operations.

· Team & Stakeholder Management

o Build and mentor high-performing SAP EWM teams (consultants, architects, project managers).

o Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in IT, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing.

o Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery quality.

· Operational Excellence

o Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes using SAP EWM capabilities.

o Ensure system stability, scalability, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

· 15+ years of SAP experience, with at least 8+ years in SAP EWM leadership roles.

· Proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP EWM programs in global organizations.

· Strong knowledge of warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, inventory management, labor management, automation integration.

· Expertise in integration with SAP S/4HANA, TM, and third-party logistics systems.

· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

· Experience working in global delivery centers or managing offshore teams (preferred for Bangalore).

Education

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.

· SAP certifications in EWM or Supply Chain modules (preferred).

Mandatory Skill Sets: SAP EWM

Preferred Skill sets:

· Strong expertise in SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, Response & Supply).

· Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP programs and PMO functions.

· Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and planning strategies.

· PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
