The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible to monitor and review the design and implementation of security solutions (network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems) and security measures to protect a computer networks and systems from cyber threats. A broad role typically entails our resources to adopt a problem-solving approach to solve important client problems and extend support in monitoring/managing large projects; involving the following responsibilities: · End-to-end security management of complex network projects. · Conduct technology assessments of current state network security and define a roadmap for future state. · Conduct feasibility assessments and roadmap definitions for the future state of network security. · Assess open-source solutions and technology and recommend adoption in planned network security systems. · Study and define various integration mechanisms of existing network security solutions. · Evaluation of all existing network security options as a solution to cater to project requirements. · Review the network & security architectures and provide suggestions on network optimization and performance improvement. · Design technical requirements for the tender for selection of System Integrator and project manage the development of network security systems. · Provide security expertise for the overall design and implementation of planned network systems.
Mandatory skill sets:
· Hands on experience in designing Data Centre Networks · Expertise in network protocols TCP/IP, routing, and switching. · Experience with network security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
· Strong knowledge of network security principles, best practices, tools, etc. · Experience in network design and security, either hands-on or in management/consulting roles. · Hands-on experience working with major network security components: business process, information, and infrastructure, is preferred. · Experience in the field of network security development and network security project implementation. · Knowledge of new age technology like microservices, DevOps, and API architecture. · Extensive experience in designing network security systems and proposing innovative solutions. · Should have a sound understanding of OEM and Open-Source network security products.
Preferred skill sets:
· Good writing and verbal communication skills · Working knowledge of relevant tools and technologies
Years of experience
required: · Total Experience: 5+ years (mandatory) · Relevant Experience: 3+ Years · Experience in network security architecture, including designing and implementing security measures for large-scale data center networks including changes and updates to accommodate any changes. · Experience of working with Government (Central, State) / related agencies is preferred.
Education qualification:
· Full-Time - B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA/ MBA (mandatory) · CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIE or equivalent (mandatory)
