Job Description & Summary:
A career in PwC Emerging technology will provide you with a unique opportunity to help our clients identify and prioritize emerging technologies that can help solve their business problems. We help clients design approaches to integrate new technologies, skills, and processes so they can drive business results and innovation. Our team helps organizations to embrace emerging technologies to remain competitive and improve their business by solving complex questions. Our team focuses on identifying and prioritizing emerging technologies, breaking into new markets, and preparing clients to get the most out of their emerging technology investments.
Responsibilities:
Ability to apply design patterns and data structures and algorithms (DSA) to solve complex software engineering problems.
Utilize Kafka or similar message-driven architectures to enhance application performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Design and implement microservices architecture, ensuring seamless inter-service communication and fault tolerance.
Create and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot Framework.
Employ Java 11 (or above) features, with a focus on stream API and lambda expressions, for efficient logic implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while following best practices in software development.
Create relevant functional designs and documentation for showcasing solutions and providing them as deliverables.
Integrate and support third-party authentication systems.
Have experience integrating with Angular or React solutions having decent understanding of UI components.
Understanding of working with Javascript, HTML and jQuery required for issue resolution.
Mandatory skill sets:
DSA and coding
Spring boot and microservices handson experience
Kafka or other message driven architecture.
Proficient in Java 11 and above, along with a strong emphasis on stream API and lambda expressions.
SQL/NoSQL , Git
Good to have: HTML/CSS, Javascript, React/Angular/Vue
Preferred skill sets:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Agile Methodology:
Experience working in Agile development teams, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
