Job Summary:

Facilitates multidisciplinary improvement teams, gathers data, performs research, completes analytics and compiles best practice information while providing project / program management for clinical and operational leader achievement of transformational strategic and tactical project results.– Focused on multi-project initiatives at the platform and multi-platform level and involving major segments of the organization, to achieve improved patient experience, safety, staff satisfaction, quality, timeliness and efficiency improvements while achieving a favorable return on investment.

Job Duties:

  • Develops work plans for discrete projects and program and multi-project initiatives.
  • Works with project accountable leaders to manage the work to meet project milestones through application of project management discipline, consistent follow through, relationship management and creative organizational problem solving.
  • Hardwires process improvements and embeds process and outcome metrics in improvement initiatives that; draw data electronically from clinical and administrative records; are presented in easy to understand graphic format and have sufficient detail to identify specific sources of actionable opportunity.
  • Works with service lines and departments to formulate improvement strategies, approaches, and designs complex improvements in operations and patient care workflows.
  • Leverages extensive operational and clinical experience to resolve difficult opportunities.
  • Assesses the local stakeholder environments and works with project sponsors and leaders to build the support and will to address improvement opportunities among line staff, providers and leaders.
  • Establishes and manages relationships to achieve transformational change with line staff, providers and leaders.
  • Facilitates and trains trainers for multidisciplinary and multi-site teams and supports accountable leaders in managing project teams.
  • Uses analytic, experiential and subjective assessment skills to identify large performance improvement opportunities.
  • Identifies and applies relevant best practice improvement tools and solutions from prior training and experience, internal best practices, literature and external relationships, and applies them to current projects; innovates on a wide variety of best practice approaches; becomes industry thought leader in focused areas.
  • Collaborates with internal and external resources to utilize expertise from multiple sources.
  • Documents work products and methodologies to enable knowledge transfer.
  • Designs and develops general use education plans and content.
  • Manages and conducts training for providers, leaders and executives.

  • Work Arrangement: Work from home

  • Residency Requirement: Must reside in Pennsylvania

  • On-Site Expectation: Required to report to the department location at least 4 days per month

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field required
  • Master’s Degree – preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experiencerequired
  • Minimum 5 years of managing people, processes, or projectsrequired
  • Six Sigma Certification (ASQ) – preferred
