Import Supervisor Position:

Education / qualifications:

International Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineer

Main responsibilities of the position:

1.Internal daily/weekly shipping meetings for import planning and follow up with all parties involve.

a.Import Ocean Freights

b.Import Land Freight.

c.Import Air Freight.

d. Export Ocean Freight

2.Elaborate all customs paperwork for the Import of the raw materials, components, assets, tooling and consumables in compliance with Mexican regulation by keeping safe Terex Genie Mexico’s IMMEX program and VAT certification.

•Analize and determinate the correct import process (TGM - TGG - Regimen)

•HTS classification process with Mexican custom broker and corporate.

•Ensure de Brand, Model and Serial Number of fixed assets before the import process and the correct declaration in customs documents (Pedimento, packing list, COVE) and correct information in Annex 24.

•Update Annex 24 catalogs of new materials, components, assets, in the proper classification.

•Import paperwork through annex 24 software.

•Track and trace of shipments.

•Coordination between MX / US Custom broker, freight providers and warehouse.

•Review and audit of custom document /Pedimento – Ensuring the compliance with Mexican regulation apply to Terex Genie Mexico.

•Import duties optimization by the application of FTA, PROSEC, Rule 8th.

•Request, review and keep/File COO from suppliers and legal requerimients according to FTA.

•Customs recordkeeping – Auditing documents attached and declarations.

•Support of claims in damage material in transit.

•Extra expenses control and claim to suppliers/forwarder for not autorized charges.

•Annex 24 import records vs Data Stage

•Annex 24 support ( BOMs request) -Temporally

•Annex 24 support (Regulations if support is needed)

•Carta Porte - code review

•Entrust Letter Control and Keeprecord

3.Supplier payment approval and control (Mexican custom broker & Freight)

•Review and control of supplier invoices.

•Monthly reports

4.Attend Customs or Tax authorities in case of an audits.

5. General support to Import Export related to Compliance.

6. Generate and update WI, SOP, Legal Information instructions.

Main job-specific requirements / skills:

  • Management of Annex 24 ( ZOE, Iexport, Arancel, others.)

  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP system.

  • Knowledge of Mexican Rules and Regulations for IMMEX/CIVA.

  • Must have a strong understanding of business, trading practices, laws, mathematics and great communication skills.

Optional:

  • Qualification of goods for USMA and other FTA.
  • Knowledge of requirements and certifications of C-TPAT, OEA.
