THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Sustainability team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for driving improvements and continuously enhancing the sustainability of our business practices and supply chain. As the Analyst/ Senior Analyst Sustainability, you will play a critical role in advancing Aritzia's social and environmental performance. You'll analyze data, develop insights, and support initiatives that demonstrate the business value of sustainability to internal stakeholders and external partners. In this role you will also collaborate with suppliers to strengthen sustainable manufacturing practices and ensure alignment with our standards. THE ROLE

As the Analyst/ Senior Analyst, Sustainability, you will:

  • Support the definition and delivery of Aritzia’s sustainability ambition 

  • Progress towards strengthening social foundations and respecting planetary boundaries throughout our supply chain

  • Reduce Aritzia’s environmental footprint throughout the value chain in line with planetary boundaries

  • Uphold and respect human rights throughout Aritzia’s practices

  • Inform and engage our stakeholders through transparent and accurate people & planet communications and reporting

  • Ensure the seamless running of the day-to-day business and initiatives by reducing churn and increasing productivity

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Analyst/ Senior Analyst Sustainability, has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:

    • Managing complex datasets and using analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Tableau)

    • ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB)

    • Preparing reports that meet external regulatory requirements

    • Designing internal controls for financial / non-financial reporting to support risk management and mitigation

    • Project or program management skills or certificates (e.g., PMP or equivalent)

  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles

  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 –$100,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
