Iron Mountain is seeking a meticulous and motivated Imaging Technician to join our Media & Archive Services team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the high-quality digitization, restoration, and remediation of unique physical image assets, ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of invaluable media archives.
In this role, you will:
Execute Asset Migration: Lead the digitization and reformatting of diverse visual media (including negatives, glass plates, and transparencies) using high-end scanning equipment to create high-fidelity digital masters.
Collaborate for Delivery: Partner with Client Services Representatives, Studio Managers, and customers to ensure technical specifications are met and contracted services are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Ensure Technical Excellence: Maintain rigorous quality control standards, perform equipment calibration, and manage detailed archival work logs and metadata to ensure a secure chain of custody and organizational compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience in digital imaging, archival services, or professional photography environments.
Strong knowledge of historic analog visual media formats and professional imaging software, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and FileMaker.
Proven ability in technical troubleshooting, attention to detail regarding image quality, and managing complex asset-tracking workflows.
High School diploma or equivalent (Required); further education in Photography, Digital Media, or Library Science is a plus.
Salary: $17/hr
Shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
