Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in their Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. We are recruiting a full-time Vascular/Interventional Radiologist to join our team located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Highlights:
100% Interventional Radiology position with a full-scope of IR practice with active service lines including PAD, aortic-endografts, DVT/PE, interventional oncology including Y90, TACE, ablation, hepatobiliary, UAE/PAE, GI/GU, Dialysis management including percutaneous AV Fistula creation, and spine/interventional pain in addition to biopsy, drainage and venous access services
Advanced imaging and equipment including Spyglass biliary endoscopy, ICE-TIPS, PEF-ablation, all Inari and Penumbra products, TriNav, Sirtex Y90, LAVA, and many others. Multiple limited market release products available in trial
Multiple active clinical trials in the VTE space and two dedicated IR research coordinators with support from AHN research institute including IRB and statistical support
The latest Siemens angiography equipment throughout the network with recent complete departmental renovation at our flagship hospital. Up to date ultrasound at all sites, Philips IU-22 or HD-11 units
Robust E&M practice with clinic and administrative support with two outpatient clinic spaces, four dedicated IR schedulers, a nurse navigator, and multiple clinical physician assistants
IR/DR and Independent IR residencies and medical school affiliations with Drexel University College of Medicine and LECOM provide ample opportunities for teaching and education
Collaborative and mutually supportive relationship with vascular surgery, transplant surgery, hepatology, gastroenterology, medical oncology, and more
Compensation Overview
Salary Range: $420,000-$1,100,000
Competitive base salary with additional compensation for weekend call, value-based care and academic productivity, onsite coverage, and clinical productivity
Reasonable wRVU requirements with opportunity for incentive over target
RVU expectation (based on years of experience): 6,137-7,308
Signing and starting bonus eligibility
Job Qualifications:
Completion of ACGME approved Radiology Residency
Completion of ACGME approved Vascular or Interventional Radiology Fellowship
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required
For on-site/hybrid positions: Opportunities to participate in the residency and medical student training programs
Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
