Job Description :
Allegheny Health Network is seeking a full-time Emergency Radiologist to provide remote overnight coverage across various AHN facilities.
Job Duties:
- Providing diagnostic emergency radiology coverage at an academic medical center that includes an adult Level 1 trauma center, as well as a Level 2 trauma center
- Coverage is also provided to the emergency departments of the community hospitals within AHN
- The position’s work schedule is made up of 7 consecutive overnight shifts, followed by 14 days off, i.e. “1 week on, 2 weeks off.” Each shift is 9 hours in duration.
- All AHN facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment and PACS system
Compensation Overview
- Salary Range: $480,000-$750,000
- Competitive base salary with additional compensation for clinical productivity
- Reasonable wRVU requirements with opportunity for incentive over target
- RVU expectation (based on years of experience): 8,229
- Signing and starting bonus eligibility
Job Qualifications:
- Completion of ACGME approved radiology residency
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.
- Actively participate in the training program in terms of clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students.
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
- Demonstrated career interest in emergency radiology, strong clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems.
- Must be able to function at a high level in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work well in a collaborative setting.
- Candidates will be required to read US, CT, MRI, and conventional radiography; however, performance of image-guided procedures is not a requirement.
