We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data Analytics team at Marsh Mc Lennan. This role will be based in Mumbai/Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
- Partner with the business teams to gather requirement and relevant data, and interpret their business needs to identify user stories.
- Understand the data mart/data warehousing concepts along with knowledge of SQL to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data
- Advanced Power BI/Tableau development including PBI/Tableau data model creation, customize dimensions, advanced statistical calculations and interactive dashboards
- Invent creative and innovative ways to answer key business questions by leveraging existing data assets or creating new ones
- Story-teller capable of delivering creative design and interactive data visualisation
- Manage documentation of dashboards, and ensure that the junior resources are trained on Power BI/Tableau to build more developers
What you need to have:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering, Sciences or related fields.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of working in R/Python, MS Excel and using VBA for automation
- Work experience of about 1 to 3 years in Business Intelligence team as Tableau/ Power BI expert preferably in General Insurance domain
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Access, SQL with broad working knowledge of methodologies used for advanced analytics.
Eligibility
- Minimum 12 months experience as Senior Specialist (C2) / Specialist (C1)
- Should have at least “On-Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.
- Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan or had any official disciplinary action within the last 3 months.
- Should not have applied for any other IJP in the last 3 months

- Strong programming skills and technical individual contributor
- P&C Actuarial experience with a Pricing background (especially in areas of applying regression techniques such as GLM).
