IGP Account Coordinator

As part of a small and dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in preparing international (re)insurance proposals and annual reports for IGP’s Multinational Clients and their Advisors. The position involves frequent interaction with our International Network of Insurance Company Partners, as well as with our Multinational Clients, many of whom are well-known leaders in their respective industries.

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of our Client’s International Experience Reports and manages a portfolio of Clients. The role reviews Policy Year End Reports and coordinates their successful completion.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares proposals, including analysis of quotations submitted by Network Partners, review of plan specifications, and preparation of benefit and cost summaries and Second Stage Accounting Exhibits with appropriate explanatory notes.

  • Communicates orally or in writing with clients, brokers, Network Partners and department members to clarify and resolve questions, concerns, or requests regarding client cases and extension sales.

  • Prepares IGP Second Stage Accounting Exhibits to accompany IGP proposals, in accordance with the expenses and risk formulas in the IGP Operating Guide. 

  • Prepare Second Stage Accounting exhibits as well as to check the accounting Policy Year End Reports. 

  • Conducts research as required by clients, brokers, or department members with respect to Social Security systems, labor codes, and private employee benefit practices, in more than 50 countries around the world

  • Assists on special assignments for key IGP accounts, including multi-country pooling exercises. Collects data, compiles reports, communicates with Network Partners, etc.

  • Prepares Administrative Data Reports for client cases, including preparation of Second Stage Accounting and details of special arrangements involving the case (i.e. Business Updates). 

  • Addresses any concerns regarding the experience reports with the Network Partners.  Prepares a cover letter reflecting experience and key issues for the client.

  • Assists in logistical arrangements and special projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • A basic knowledge of group insurance and pensions is essential. 

  • Demonstrated passion for providing client-centric solutions

  • Propensity to work collaboratively, within team and with members of other teams

  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications

  • Has an analytical and open mind with a good feeling for numbers and the ability to interpret numerical data effectively.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Adaptable and flexible in responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations

  • Self-motivated, organized and results-oriented

Salary range is expected to be between

$50,700.00 CAD - $84,500.00 CAD
