Identity & Access Management Architect

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect is responsible for designing, managing, governing, and securing all aspects of human and non-human identities within the environment. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, risk management, policy development, and continuous improvement.

General Responsibilities
• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, gaining business consensus, performing vendor and product evaluations, mentoring business and development resources, deliver solutions, training and documentation
• Creates initiatives and sets them into clear team objectives and concrete individual goals, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient, coordinated action
• Manages the implementing of the strategy roadmap for enterprise data, implementation and data management for new data sources, publicly available data, business-to-business partnerships and advanced data analytics systems
• Introduce new utilization of advanced data analysis, including statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and use of computational packages
• Frames and conducts complex analyses and experiments using various statistical techniques

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Team Management - Ability to delegate, motivate, mentor, develop and manage team to achieve objectives. Manage external resource against SLA and operational metrics
• Budget Management - Ability to project and present annual operation Expense and Capital budget in departmental budget process

  • Design a secure architecture for managing all human and non-human company identities: validate least privilege implementation, conduct regular user access reviews, log user behavior, investigate suspicious user access, etc.

  • Lead the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team and provide guidance and clarity on architecture best practices, identify areas for improvement, mitigate unnecessary risk.

  • Continuous improvement: conduct regular assessments of existing technologies, research new/emerging technologies, embrace AI to enable automation and better security.

  • Document policies and standard practices and adhere to global regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Regularly validate access usage to determine if access is still required for human and non-human accounts, disable/delete unused access, provide quick reaction force for re-enablement, if necessary.

  • Define standards for accessing applications and tools on-prem, in the cloud, and for the OT environment.

Base Salary Range:

$116,400.00 - $159,940.00
