Performs a variety of Training and Administrative functions for a single business location including: coordinating the unit training records, maintaining employee training files, processing employee paperwork, conducting new hire training orientation and re-certification training classes, may also assist with other employee administrative functions as needed. Must retain certifications for all IDD trainings required for instructor. This position is an individual contributor that typically reports to the Business Office Manager.

Payrate: $18.00

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in orientation training, developing schedules, entering data and performing external compliance tasks. Manages employee training files by performing the following duties.
  • Provides information to applicants regarding training policies required for organization.
  • Instructs participants for training completeness, and obtains additional information in preparation for training, and skills.
  • Keeps participants informed of training status during orientation.
  • Enters and maintains information in a computer.
  • Documents employee selections in accordance with company goals & policy and in compliance with employment regulations.
  • Performs other responsibilities related to employment and training requirements
  • All other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • One year of HR, Training or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage if applicable.
  • Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.

  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
