Agropur is a leading manufacturer of ice cream, novelties and mochi in Canada. We are accepting applications for our production facility located at 85 Blakeney Drive, Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada.
What the Ice Cream Packer role is about:
Starting pay at $21.23
Duties include all areas of production or warehouse as required.
Ability to follow precise procedures, possess excellent hand and eye coordination.
- Working in a -35 degrees Celsius environment
Effectively communicate and work well with others.
The schedules will vary week by week. Must be available to work up to 40 hours a week including night shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Hours are based on production need.
What you need to be an Ice Cream Packer:
Grade 12 or equivalent education.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) and work in a fast-pace environment.
A strong commitment to workplace safety.
Previous experience in a food processing plant or warehouse environment will be considered an asset.
