I&C Inside Sales Quoting Specialist

In this role, you will work closely with our internal inside sales team as well as our sales representatives to review and manage product quotations, aligning customer requirements with pricing strategy and business objectives to maximize value for the customer, the sales organization, and Prysmian Encore Wire.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with sales agents to review, structure, and optimize customer quotations in alignment with pricing strategy, margin targets, and commercial guidelines
  • Manage quotation intake and workflow, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
  • Evaluate deal requests to balance customer competitiveness, sales objectives, and company profitability
  • Collaborate with plant, manufacturing, scheduling, and supply chain teams to ensure quotes reflect operational feasibility and product availability
  • Interface cross‑functionally with Finance, Credit, Product Management, Engineering, Shipping, and Quality to support complex or non‑standard deal structures
  • Respond to pricing and deal‑related inquiries from sales agents, supporting successful order conversion and execution
  • Maintain and continuously develop product, pricing, and process knowledge through internal training and real‑time deal experience
  • Participate in cross‑functional initiatives that improve deal efficiency, pricing discipline, and quote‑to‑order cycle time
  • Provide backup coverage for other Deal Desk and commercial support team members as needed
  • Provide feedback to leadership on opportunities to enhance tools, controls, turnaround time, and decision quality

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in Deal Desk, quotations, pricing, inside sales, sales operations, account management, or commercial support roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for scenario analysis and data review
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment without constant supervision
  • Technical aptitude to understand product specifications, applications, and manufacturing considerations
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with competing priorities
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and follow‑up skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across functions

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or AS/400
  • Exposure to pricing governance, margin analysis, or approval workflows
