Intel is looking for a seasoned Product Lead for Embedded IoT and Edge Platforms to drive product strategy, ecosystem engagement, and design wins across India. This role sits at the intersection of product management, engineering, and customer engagement, translating market requirements into scalable silicon-to-software solutions.
The candidate will operate as a market-facing product management leader, working closely with enterprise customers, OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners to define current and upcoming customer use cases, product MRDs and PRDs for internal product & engineering teams articulate Edge roadmap to our partners, customers and edge ecosystems to drive edge designs across vertical segments in India.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Define and execute product strategy for embedded IoT and edge computing solutions aligned with Intel’s global roadmap.
• Develop and maintain Market Requirement Documents (MRD) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD) based on industry demand signals.
• Translate customer use cases into scalable silicon, board, and software stack solution
Customer & Ecosystem Engagement
• Act as the technical evangelist for Intel’s edge platforms across enterprise and industrial segments.
• Engage with customers in sectors such as Retail , industrial automation, retail, Critical infrastructure, and Edge deployments.
• Drive design wins and product adoption through technical positioning and roadmap alignment with existing and new customer accounts in partnership with Intel Sales and Marketing stakeholders
Technical Product Leadership
• Possess strong working knowledge of embedded systems architecture, including:
• Edge compute platforms
• Board design fundamentals
• Infrastructure software stacks
• Hardware–software integration layers
• Articulate the full edge solution stack to customers—from silicon and firmware to OS, middleware, and application frameworks.
Cross-Functional Execution
• Collaborate closely with engineering, silicon architecture, and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into product features.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to support design engagements and go-to-market strategies.
• Support ecosystem partners including ISVs, ODMs, OEMs, and system integrators.
Market & Channel Development
• Leverage deep understanding of the Indian channel ecosystem, including distributors, VARs, and solution integrators.
• Build strategic relationships with key industry partners and enterprise accounts.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and feed insights into the global product
• 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or solution architecture in the embedded, IoT, or semiconductor industry.
• Strong technical understanding of:
• Embedded computing platforms
• Edge AI and IoT architectures
• Infrastructure software stacks
• Hardware and board design fundamentals
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles including account management and technical business development.
• Experience writing MRD, PRD, and product roadmap documentation.
• Demonstrated success in driving design wins and product adoption with enterprise customers.
Preferred Experience
• Exposure to Edge AI, industrial IoT, smart retail, or infrastructure deployments.
• Experience working with global semiconductor companies or platform providers.
• Familiarity with Intel architecture, edge compute frameworks, and ecosystem partnerships.
• Strong network across OEMs, ODMs, and solution integrators in India.
