ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Korea IB Manager is responsible for driving aftermarket Sales (supplies, parts) to increase VJ market share and maximize profitability through direct and indirect channels in Korea and assigned territories.  This position reports to Korea General Manager and has a dotted line reporting to Regional IB Manager/Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive direct sales of all Videojet consumable supplies, parts and service contracts to new and existing customers to achieve margin targets.

  • Maintain active relationships with the existing accounts through targeted calls/visits

  • Maintain/Increase supplies contracts through new/renewals

  • Manage renewals of annual supplies contracts with price increase

  • Negotiate any other special requests for pricing

  • Maintain and manage Customer Database (CRM) for territory assigned (SFDC)

  • Work with Korea Direct team on retain and regain strategies using standard IB and Veralto Business System tools

  • IB Tool Update

  • Prepare monthly customer risk analysis report

  • Prepare monthly forecast report on supplies target

  • Provide analytical support on data on pricing, product mix, sales, product trends, vertical/customer analysis and work with Regional Sales team to develop and implement strategies to achieve IB revenue/margin target

  • Analyses the hits and misses in the IB sales and margin, find RC, define, and implement actions to either fix the RC and/or catch up the gap

  • Initiates PSPs, Kaizen and other countermeasures for the desired course corrections

  • Voice of Customer – ensuring local market demands are fed back into Korean team.

  • Champions IB Standard work and processes

Work Experience and Skills/Competencies:

  • Min. 5-6 years of consumable sales experience (including parts and service contract sales) preferably from an industrial/equipment industry in a B2B setup

  • Aftermarket skills set

  • Analytical mindset

  • Excellent communication skills phone and F2F, both written and verbal, upstream and downstream

  • Self-motivated

  • Flexible approach, adaptive skills to different work cultures, challenging markets and must have a solution-finding attitude

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Proficient in MS Office and good working knowledge in Excel

  • Language skills: Professional proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced or higher)

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Proactive and independent

  • High energy, able to work under pressure

  • Process-oriented

Desirable to have:

  • Planning & forecasting experience

  • Understands our customers, has sold into part of our customer base: Food, Beverage, Pharma, Household, Extrusion, Wire & Cable, Automotive etc.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English (For internal communication)

  • Experience working with Distributors/Partners/Channels

  • Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales target

  • Sold capital good with significant supplies and service aftersales element to business

  • Worked with multiple customers at all levels, particularly in manufacturing environments

  • Used to selling multiple products / different technologies (“basket of products”)

  • Familiar with CRM/Sales Database and a sales funnel

  • Selling skills – understands the sales process

  • Monitoring and strong follow-up with customers

  • Diploma/Degree in Business / Engineering / Finance

Direct / Indirect Sales (국내 직·간접 영업)

  • 신규 및 기존 고객을 대상으로 Videojet의 소모품, 부품 및 서비스 계약에 대한 직접 영업을 수행하여 마진 목표 달성
  • 타깃 고객을 대상으로 한 **정기적인 유선/대면 접촉(Call/Visit)**을 통해 기존 고객 관계 유지 및 강화
  • 신규 체결 및 갱신을 통해 소모품 계약(Supplies Contract) 유지 및 확대
  • 연간 소모품 계약 갱신 시 가격 인상 관리
  • 특수 가격 요청 발생 시 가격 협상 수행
  • 담당 지역 고객에 대한 CRM(Customer Database) 관리 (SFDC 활용)
  • Korea Direct 팀과 협업하여 표준 IB 및 Veralto Business System 툴을 활용한 Retain & Regain 전략 수립 및 실행
  • IB Tool 업데이트 관리
  • 월별 고객 리스크 분석 리포트 작성
  • 월별 소모품 매출 목표 대비 Forecast 리포트 작성
  • 가격, 제품 믹스, 매출, 제품 트렌드, 산업군/고객 분석 등 데이터 기반 분석 지원 제공
    및 Regional Sales 팀과 협업하여 IB 매출/마진 목표 달성을 위한 전략 수립 및 실행
  • IB 매출 및 마진에 대한 성과 분석(Hit & Miss 분석) 수행,
    Root Cause(RC) 도출 후 개선 또는 갭 해소를 위한 실행 방안 정의 및 이행
  • 목표 달성을 위한 PSP, Kaizen 및 기타 개선 활동(Countermeasures) 주도
  • Voice of Customer 활동 수행: 국내 시장 및 고객 요구사항을 한국 조직에 적극적으로 공유
  • IB 표준 업무(Standard Work) 및 프로세스 정착과 실행을 주도

경력 및 역량 (Work Experience & Skills / Competencies)

  • B2B 환경의 산업/장비 업계에서 최소 5~6년 이상의 소모품 영업 경험
    (부품 및 서비스 계약 영업 경험 포함)
  • Aftermarket(사후 서비스/소모품) 영업 역량 보유
  • 데이터 기반의 분석적 사고 능력
  • 전화 및 대면(F2F) 커뮤니케이션 모두에서 뛰어난 구두·서면 커뮤니케이션 능력
