Your key responsibilities:

Trade & Execution Support

  • Provide day to day support to ECM syndicate during equity deal execution, including IPOs, secondary offerings, rights issues, and block trades.

  • Assist with trade booking, allocation support, and post trade processing in accordance with approved deal terms and desk procedures.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Middle Office, and Settlement teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of ECM trades.

  • Support stabilization, buyback, or post pricing activities under ECM syndicate/equities sales trader instruction, where applicable.

  • Responsible for FINI workflow and placing forms for equity deal execution

Workflow & Documentation

  • Maintain and update deal related checklists, execution records, and supporting documentation within approved workflows.

  • Assist in ensuring all required approvals, sign offs, and evidence are properly recorded and retained in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Support completion and tracking of closed deal checklists to evidence completion of all required workflows.

Compliance & Control Support

  • Support ECM syndicate in complying with internal policies, market conduct rules, and regulatory obligations applicable to ECM trading activities.

  • Assist with record retention requirements, including maintaining audit trails for deal execution, approvals, and communications.

  • Liaise with Compliance and Legal teams on control related matters, including confirmations, attestations, or regulatory reviews, as required.

  • Ensure appropriate segregation of duties is maintained at all times; no independent trading decisions or risk taking authority.

Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a key coordination point between ECM syndicate, sales, sales trading, operations, compliance, and technology teams.

  • Assist in preparing internal reports, management information, and materials for internal committees or governance forums.

  • Support ad hoc requests from ECM syndicate, management, or control functions relating to ECM deal execution.

  • Work closely with the KYC team to support account opening with brokers and ECM investors

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in supporting ECM products and deal lifecycle (e.g. HK IPOs, follow‑ons, block trades).

  • Familiarity with trade support, booking, and post‑trade processes.

  • Strong awareness of compliance, internal controls, and segregation of duties.

  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and record‑keeping discipline.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deal timelines.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with Trading, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience in banking / capital markets support preferred.
