Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire® Funds and Securities, the National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®1, FedACH®, Check Services, and the FedNow® Service. FRFS operates as a fully integrated organization with groups dedicated to customer experience, operations, technology, product and customer/industry management, enterprise services, payments system improvement, and one focused on the ongoing growth and development of the FedNow instant payment service. About the Role
The Identity and Access Management specialist role includes the following responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of IAM processes across the FRFS business line, ensuring compliance standards are met and alignment with enterprise security standards and security best practices.
- Facilitate the development and socialization of IAM policies that align FRFS business needs with enterprise capabilities and standards
- Support enterprise IAM tooling and migration efforts, serving as a central point of contact for FRFS where appropriate
- Socialize IAM best-practices and foster an IAM-aware “culture” across FRFS
- Provide IAM consultation to FRFS stakeholders to help them understand policies, practices, and foster a common understanding and adoption of IAM best practices.
- Maintain relationships with business areas and enterprise partners that interact with FRFS in a moderately complex manner on a regular basis.
- Staff must be able to work under general to limited supervision.
- Ability to work in close partnership within cross-functional, technical and non-technical and agile teams to drive strategic security efforts to closure.
Your Background
- Familiarity with IAM tools and their application in enterprise environments. Key experience includes, but is not limited to, using IAM tools to manage provisioning, access re-certification, on- and off-boarding, Roles Based Access Management (RBAC), as well as attribute-based management, etc.
- Experience implementing orchestration/workflow processes using contemporary automation tools
- Experience using scripting and data management tools to facilitate data analysis.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to enhance information security awareness and enablement of industry best practices.
- Experience leading and participating in cross-functional teams to define/develop security solutions/architectures/patterns in accordance with business requirements.
- Experience leveraging automation and AI-driven tools for identity governance and anomaly detection.
- Understanding of industry-standard architectural best practices such as least-privilege enforcement, infrastructure segmentation, and zero trust architecture.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles in support of agile product development.
- Familiarity with contemporary security event logging tools like Splunk, Datadog, etc. and similar security orchestration tools
- Familiarity with contemporary scripting tools such as PowerShell, Unix shells, etc
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity in low-code/no-code workflow solutions and application lifecycle management solutions.
- Familiarity with Product Management and Agile Methodologies.
- Learning mindset geared toward innovation and creativity for applying technology capabilities in new ways, necessary for both the delivery of effective technology and business solutions.

Additional Requirements
- This position may require you to travel as much as 10% of the time.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $122,600 and $134,900 annually in addition to annual performance-based discretionary bonuses. Final salary and offer will be determined based on the applicant’s relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
