Who we are looking for

State Street cyber architecture & engineering is looking for outstanding individuals with excellent intellectual and analytical capabilities, entrepreneurial problem-solving skills, strong communications, and influencing capabilities. This role will have a broad range of responsibilities within IAM/IGA.

What you will be responsible for

  • Data Analytics & BI Visualization Reporting
    • Lead data analytics initiatives, transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence and storytelling reports, deliver strategic insights that support business decisions.
    • Design and develop impactful visualizations, executive-level dashboards and compliance reporting, present data insights for leadership.
    • Automate reporting frameworks and recurring reports to improve efficiency and redo manual work.
    • Perform data quality and validation processes.
  • Data Transformations & Pipelines
    • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple data sources, ensuring accurate datasets and insights to support scalable analytics and enterprise reporting.
    • Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines in Databricks to process large datasets, transform raw data into analytics-ready formats for reporting usage.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with cross function teams and communication business needs, translate business requirements into clear, reusable datasets for dashboards and reports.
    • Partner and drive consensus among various stakeholders including compliance, governance, audit, business and development team.
    • Have an agile mindset and deliver incremental value in sprints.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
  • 7–10 years of experience in data analytics & business intelligence reporting, and implementation to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong contributor with high motivation, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities, and drive deliveries.
  • Manage/mentor junior team members and provide guidance as required.
  • Team player, Ethical, Self-driven and self-motivated, goal and results oriented.
  • Experience working in large financial organizations.
  • Experience in building, managing diverse geographically located teams and championing customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • 7–10 years of experience in data analytics & business intelligence reporting or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
  • Advanced experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Advanced experience with Databricks, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and create optimized data models for BI reporting.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Programming experience in Python or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with cloud environment AWS.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
