Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Hydraulic Hose Press Operator (Class A) to support our busy operations in Edmonton. As the Hydraulic Hose Press Operator, you are responsible for a variety of duties in the hose room environment. Duties include, assembling hoses in a customer facing and assembly line environment, hose room organization and cleanliness, inventory management and cycle counting.

Job Description:

  • Rebuilding and manufacturing hydraulic hoses to produce a high quality product

  • Maintain and coordinate the hydraulic hose operation

  • Assisting internal and external customers

  • Computer work will be required

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 education

  • Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset

  • Hold or be willing to achieve forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG

  • Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be an asset

  • A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Note:

  • This role is based in Edmonton Warehouse Facility and follows a 7x7 continuous shift rotation

  • Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.

  • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement

  • Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
