HYBRID Opportunity in Northeast, OH

We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and strategic minded HR Business Partner who demonstrates high levels of independence and ownership. This influential role offers the opportunity to support and engage with team members at every level—from hourly associates to senior leadership— both in person and virtually. As an HR Business Partner, you will champion impactful initiatives that promote growth, engagement, and excellence throughout the organization.

In this role, you will oversee Human Resources operations and address complex employee relations matters for both the corporate and field customer care call center, the virtual sales team, as well as additional opportunities across the Signet enterprise. You will play a vital role in supporting the company’s financial and strategic objectives by implementing effective HR practices. Additionally, you will advise leadership across all HR functions, including regulatory compliance, career development, organizational design, change management, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Hold regular meetings with management to provide updates on Human Resources activities, compliance matters, and offer recommendations regarding policy changes, turnover analysis, and planning initiatives.

  • Identify and proactively address potential employee relations concerns, including investigation of harassment, discrimination, and other complaints, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

  • Assist in developing HR and compensation programs and suggest enhancements that support the company’s strategic, financial, and organizational objectives.

  • Ensure disciplinary procedures and compensation policies comply with state and federal laws, company protocols, and provide guidelines for promotions and hires.

  • Develop and implement HR practices to empower management and employees, improving effectiveness, engagement, retention, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

  • Provide guidance on complex issues to ensure consistent and fair application of organizational policies and practices, even in instances without precedent.

  • Oversee performance management for employees and managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and succession planning.

  • Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to develop recruitment strategies and ensure effective onboarding and training for new hires.

  • Partner with leadership to implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and action planning to enhance workplace culture and morale.

  • Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and transition activities for successful adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required. Preferred in Human Resources or related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience preferred, will consider high intensity/specialized experience in lieu of years worked.  Experience in retail, luxury, technology, high growth, fast paced and matrixed environments preferred.  All candidates encouraged to apply   

  • Candidates must have broad knowledge across HR disciplines (talent acquisition, L&D, benefits, compensation) with specialized experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

  • Experience partnering with leadership to align people strategies with business goals is critical, often needing to show experience with workforce planning and reorgs.

  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven HR technology and people analytics to influence business leaders.
