The Opportunity:
Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services.
Responsibilities:
O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
Compile detailed documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5-8 years Developer experience
Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
Desired:
Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Python, Shell scripting, Git
Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins
Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

The proposed salary range for this position is:
