What this job involves: JLL is seeking an HVAC Technician for our Malvern, PA facility to join the Infrastructure Support Team on second shift or weekend schedules. This hands-on position focuses heavily on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical systems with high "wrench time" expectations. The role requires technical expertise in HVAC systems, availability for call-in work, and the ability to work independently while supporting critical building operations.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Maintain and repair air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, reheat coils, and associated mechanical equipment

• Troubleshoot customer service calls for temperature control issues throughout the building

• Monitor and adjust refrigeration, heat exchangers, HVAC systems, boilers, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance on all base building and critical HVAC system equipment according to scheduled programs

• Analyze system operations to determine causes of problems and make corrective action recommendations to management

• Capture and document all repair and maintenance data including material costs and labor efforts on work orders

• Review system data and collaborate with Reliability and Operations Managers on maintenance changes and equipment upgrades

• Maintain complete system documentation in central resource locations for all repairs and system changes

• Conduct immediate work area cleanup, tool maintenance, and supply management after each task

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

• High School diploma, state equivalent, or GED

• EPA Universal Certification

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written reports

• Computer proficiency for documentation and system monitoring

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces including closets, crawl spaces, and attics

• Availability for call-in work and overtime as needed

Preferred:

• 2+ years of related trade school training or equivalent experience

• Boiler License

• Previous experience with preventive maintenance programs

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems

• Background in commercial building HVAC operations

Location: on-site, Malvern, PA

Shift/Schedule: 2nd Shift/Weekends

 

Salary: $59,800 - $86,800 / year

The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data
