What you will do

Under general supervision, to install, test, alter, repair, place and maintain Security systems and equipment; to plan, schedule, monitor and/or perform preventive maintenance (PM) operations activities and PM maintenance including repair, maintenance, and installation of Card Access Control; to perform related work as required.

How you will do it

  • Work shift hours and respond to all requests for service and corrective action 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, including holidays, full time on site of PM account site. O&M Specialist is dispatched, as applicable to respond to calls for service. 
  • Will be responsible for, but not limited to, hardware PM’s and corrective maintenance coverage includes inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment, and replacement and/or repair of parts covered under the terms of the PM contract agreement.

What is Required

  • Position requires knowledge of current electrical codes; thorough knowledge of electronic principles, theory, troubleshooting, repair and construction techniques and applications; knowledge of network systems, intercom, power supplies, relays, and electrical systems; knowledge of applicable safety hazards, practices and precautions involving driving on the site and building electrical work.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, battery analyzers, and communication devices as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

What is preferred

  • Certification with Software House C-Cure 9000, Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), Electronic Security Networking would be ideal.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.92-33.65 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
