What you will do

Johnson Controls is seeking a driven and knowledgeable HVAC Commercial Account Executive front-line seller to join our sales team based in Raleigh, NC. Your main focus will be identifying and developing opportunities within the commercial HVAC Raleigh market by working closely with mechanical contractors, engineers, facility managers, and commercial building owners. As the first point of contact for commercial clients, you’ll promote and sell JCI/York products while providing consultative support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and successful project execution. This position is based in San Antonio, TX, and candidates must be commuting distance to the area, or able to relocate.

How you will do it

  • Serve as the leader in the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Establish customer rapport with products and services.

  • Form accurate and complete sales proposals.

  • Help facilitate post-sale transitions with operations team.

  • Educating prospective customers on the superior quality products/services.

  • Continually call on assigned accounts by company policy and procedure.

  • Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads.

  • Maintain customer information updated in the CRM program.

  • Participate in training on the latest industry technologies.

  • Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs.

What you will need
Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an Engineering related discipline

  • 3 years of commercial or applied HVAC product experience and/or experience with refrigerants

  • Must be able to read and understand construction documents

  • Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles

  • Valid driver's license

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $72,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
