Human Resources Specialist

Reporting to the Plant Finance Manager, you will provide workforce management, payroll, benefits, and HR process support at a tier 2 level while coaching employees and HR partners through complex transactions. You will deliver high‑touch service through multiple channels, ensure data accuracy within Workday, support payroll and benefits administration, and contribute to improving HR processes across the organization.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑touch customer service through phone, email, and case management to meet service level expectations
  • Support employees and managers on HR and payroll
  • Temporary Hour Reconciliations and Reporting
  • Provides payroll audit support
  • Route inquiries to functional specialists as needed and follow through to ensure resolution
  • Process and enter confidential employee data Badge Deductions, termination vacation payout, calculate annual rate and vacation increases,salary premium pay
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems transactions and data integrity within Workday
  • Provide guidance and transactional support to HR Specialist I and assist in training for level 1 transactions
  • Collaborate to maintain accurate employee records and ensure data consistency
  • Assess issues to determine the best resolution path and escalate appropriately
  • Participate in training to maintain understanding of policies, processes, and systems
  • Work collaboratively with team members across HR functions
  • Provides Daily Finance Reporting

  • Company Store Backup

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma and 3+ years related experience
  • Broad HR, payroll, and benefits knowledge with the skill to explain policies and guide process navigation
  • Customer service or call center experience preferred; prior HR Shared Services experience is a plus
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with a helpful, empathetic approach
  • Experience using PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar HRIS
  • Basic analytical, organizational, and system navigation skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self‑motivation and independent problem‑solving capability
  • Detail‑oriented approach with commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Capability to work in a fast‑changing environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Spanish language proficiency desired

Compensation 

Pay Range:$49,000-$65,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
