Human Resources Operations Associate

The Human Resources Associate will support the HR Operations and Employee Relations functions and serve as a trusted advisor and partner to all employees. This position will work closely with our HR leaders, HR centers of excellence and the business to ensure alignment with our mission, vision, values and cultural pillars.  This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from onboarding to offboarding, and all points throughout the employee life cycle.  This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with the business and the HR team to support a positive, engaging and rewarding company culture.

  • Assist with implementation and administration of human resources practices and procedures regarding onboarding, pre-employment screenings, I-9 administration, new hire orientations and all offboarding activities.   

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality HR service and support by providing timely responses to help resolve daily issues and inquires.

  • Support the development, implementation and interpretation of company policies and procedures.

  • Guide managers and employees in all areas of employee relations administration: policy interpretation, employee complaints, corrective action procedures, performance management and other potential violations

  • Participate in and lead low level fact-finding into employee concerns and complaints relating to various employment policies and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance and other HR COE’s when necessary to support resolution of employee issues.

  • Analyze HR/ER data and metrics for themes and trends and identify areas for improvements and training.

  • Provide improvement and enhancement recommendations to streamline HR Operations and ER processes. 

  • Prepare ad hoc and regular Workday reports on HR operational subjects including new hires, terminations, onboarding and exiting information.

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of Workday HRIS or equivalent people platforms

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build lasting partnerships in a business

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and accomplish assignments with minimal supervision

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus

  • Sound judgement and decision making

  • Knowledge of the principles/practices of HR administration

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks that span multiple projects and multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The base salary range for this role is

$62,080.00 - $77,600.00

Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, overtime, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state.  Our robust time-off policy includes up to 120 hours of vacation per year, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter and access to our service recognition program.  Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Requires ability to use a personal computer for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements:

Primarily remote role with periodic on-site meetings in office. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
