Human Resources Operations Associate

The HR Infrastructure team provides systems that enable us to design strategic workflows, processes, governance and data that powers HR. Within HR Infrastructure, the HR Operations team manages HR’s centralized support system, administers various phases of the contingent worker and employee life cycle (background checks, job changes, etc.), manages immigration/mobility, and resolves issues related to data, programs, policies, and procedures for employees. As an HR Operations Associate, you will provide support to colleagues by answering questions, maintaining US immigration compliance, troubleshooting general technical issues, and collaborating on a variety of projects and initiatives across the HR department. This role reports to the HR Operations Manager and will be based onsite in our Austin, TX office following our office-first hybrid work schedule. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide first level day-to-day HR support to Dimensional’s global employees by responding to questions in a professional, urgent, and confidential manner. Consistently demonstrating strong customer service ensuring a positive employee experience. 
  • Monitor and action ad-hoc tier 1-2 HR inquiries in our HR case management platform (Workday). Resolve or redirect inquiries to other HR specialist teams as appropriate. 
  • Maintain US immigration compliance including i-9s, visa, and PERM/green card support.  
  • Manage accurate US employee and contingent worker records by conducting regular audits, creating reports, and partnering with various internal stakeholders to ensure compliance. 
  • Lead in-person and virtual new talent orientation for US employees. 
  • Support annual and reoccurring projects for global HR Leaders including HR Business Partners, Compensation, Talent and Development, Benefits, and other specialty areas within the department. 
  • Communicate with Legal, Compliance, Business Services, and Procurement teams on vital operational projects and procedures. 
  • Partner with HR Operations and HR Technology (HRIS) team to regularly review key HR processes to identify areas of opportunities and streamline existing HR business processes across the global department. 
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation to ensure smooth and consistent operations across the global HR team. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Additional education or training in Human Resource Management is preferred. 
  • At least 4 years of prior experience in an HR function (e.g., HR generalist, HRIS, HRBP, HR Operations, etc.) 
  • Outstanding customer service and passion for a positive employee experience. 
  • At least 2 years of experience using MS Excel or other reporting technology for data analysis. 
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion regarding the handling of confidential information. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Clear and conceptual thinker, organized, detail-oriented, with a technical, problem-solving, and analytical mindset. 
  • Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience with HR databases, Workday (or other HRIS) and an HR ticketing system is preferred.
