Position Summary:
Zoetis is seeking a hands-on HR Manager to provide HR business partnering and operational support for our Cherrywood site and its diverse functions (Commercial, Manufacturing & Supply and Enabling Functions). This role is ideal for a practical HR professional who excels in day-to-day HR management, collaborating with local leaders, and ensuring smooth HR operations. The HR Manager will focus on implementing HR processes, supporting employee relations, recruitment, and driving operational excellence aligned with Irish employment standards. Additionally, the HR Manager will support the VP, HR Global Manufacturing & Supply, and broader GMS HR team with key projects across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹HR Business Partnering support
- Act as a trusted HR partner to local leaders and managers, providing guidance on people-related matters.
- Advise managers on talent development, performance management, absence management, and employee engagement.
- Support change management initiatives and help managers implement HR processes and policies.
- Collaborate with managers to identify development needs and succession planning opportunities.
🔹HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries and support for Cherrywood’s employees and line managers.
- Manage HR administration, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR records.
- Support and resolve employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and Zoetis policies, including supporting external audits and data requests.
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, partnering with regional/global HR as required.
🔹 Talent Acquisition & Management
- Coordinate recruitment activities for Cherrywood roles in partnership with the UK / Ireland Recruiter and Intern, including interviews and selection processes.
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
- Support workforce planning and talent development activities at the operational level.
- Liaise with external recruitment vendors for specific searches.
🔹 Payroll & HR Administration
- Support payroll processing in collaboration with external vendors and the Finance team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
🔹 Learning & Development
- Assist with the delivery of training and development initiatives, aligned with the global Talent COE
- Support local leadership development initiatives as directed by the VP, HR GMS.
🔹 Team Support & Collaboration
- Coach and support the HR Intern, fostering development and service excellence.
- Participate in site-level meetings and cross-functional projects as needed.
🔹 Global Project Support
- Support the global GMS team with projects and initiatives across the network.
- Coordinate global GMS HR team meetings and manage agendas and topics.
- Run data and analytics to support reporting and various HR processes.
- Partner with COE’s on testing, data gathering, and global project implementations.
Candidate Profile:
🔹 Education & Experience
- Degree in HRM, Business, or related discipline; CIPD membership desirable.
- 5+ years’ HR experience, preferably in a multinational and matrixed environment.
- Solid understanding of Irish employment law and practices.
- Experience supporting operational HR activities and employee relations.
