JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
This is a 10-Week Project-Based Internship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience, work cross-functionally within local departments, branches, and other JAS offices around the globe. As an operations intern you will assimilate how international shipments and supporting data are planned, executed, managed, and monitored on various management levels. What to Expect
This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive view of the logistics industry, with all work conducted in a professional, climate-controlled office environment. You’ll engage in learning, shadowing, and project work that culminates in a capstone presentation to JAS leadership.
Set your course with JAS Worldwide, where your curiosity and innovation will help shape the future of global logistics.
Project Scope - Scalable Training Framework Development
This project focuses on transforming existing desk references into structured, role‑specific training materials that support consistent, scalable learning across Operations. The intern will work closely with the OXT (Operational Excellence & Transformation team) to convert current process documents into interactive microlearning modules using the EZ Generator course‑creation tool. The goal is to standardize training content, improve clarity, and ensure each module aligns with the expectations of the role it supports.
Key deliverables include converting 5–8 desk references into interactive modules across functions (Air, Ocean, Customs Brokerage, etc.), developing a standardized template for future content builds, and establishing formatting and instructional design guidelines. The intern will also present recommendations for broader rollout and long‑term adoption. This project contributes to a more reliable training library and enhances onboarding consistency across departments.
