Mission Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will report to the HR Business Partner and act as a trusted partner to provide core support to the HR team. You’ll play a key role in creating a supportive, collaborative, and values-centric workplace where everyone feels heard and empowered to do their best work.

This role centers on building strong employee relationships, handling everyday HR needs with care, and helping bring our people programs to life. You’ll support our HR Business Partners and the wider team in delivering meaningful initiatives, staying compliant, and creating positive experiences for our operations and engineering teams, with an initial emphasis on our Las Vegas office.

What you’ll do:

  • Support employee relations by triaging concerns, documenting cases, conducting initial fact-finding interviews under HR Business Partner guidance, and assisting with resolution plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to frontline managers on performance concerns, coaching, and disciplinary processes, ensuring documentation is legally sound and consistent.
  • Assist in the administration of HR programs such as performance reviews, merit cycles, employee surveys, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Serve as a frontline point-of-contact to employee and manager inquiries on company policies and general HR processes with timely and accurate information.
  • Help ensure compliance with Nevada employment law; track required postings, trainings, and filings, and flag potential issues to the HR Business Partner.
  • Contribute to local employee communications by drafting announcements, updating intranet content, and coordinating town halls or HR-led sessions.
  • Perform core HR administrative duties, including maintaining employee records, processing personnel changes (promotions, transfers, terminations), generating reports, and managing HRIS data entry.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and metrics; prepare routine reports on headcount, turnover, and program participation.
  • Provide onsite HR presence in the Las Vegas office, including coordinating employee events and maintaining a welcoming HR service point.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative projects as assigned by the HR Business Partner.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to:
    • HR administration and record-keeping
    • Employee relations intake and documentation
    • Policy interpretation and basic compliance
    • Prior experience supporting hourly or non-exempt populations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain HR processes clearly to non-HR audiences.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle) and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of Nevada employment law; familiarity with multi-state nuances (PA, MA, CA) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to be onsite in Las Vegas; minimal domestic travel (under 10%).
