Supports the delivery of HR projects, policies, programs, and procedures, ranging from onboarding, performance management, training to employee relations. The HR Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for their assigned client group and/or location and collaborate closely with Corporate HR and the Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to provide support for a wide range of local level HR needs and initiatives.
Establish effective onboarding procedures, conduct employee onboarding and new hire orientation
Responsible for answering all first level HR related inquiries, to Managers and hourly employees
Liaison between corporate HR, payroll, and the employees regarding Benefits, Payroll, HR, time & attendance
Facilitate relevant HR and compliance training to supervisors and hourly employees and maintain vital training records (Respect in the Workplace, Conflict of Interest, etc).
Coordinate relevant testing (drug screening etc)
Collaborate with the TR COE and HRBP on claims management and return to work for non-occupational injuries or illnesses.
Maintain plant specific reference manuals, standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions that fall under the scope of Human Resources.
Maintains accurate and up to date personnel records for all employees - attendance records, training records, performance appraisals, reviews, etc.
Supports full cycle recruitment efforts in coordination with Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager for all hourly personnel and skilled trades.
Monitors 30-60-90 day evaluations, and notify Supervisor when due
Conduct exit interviews of hourly employees.
Advise and guide assigned client groups on HR issues (e.g. conflict resolution, performance management, attendance issues, etc.). Advance issues as appropriate to COE’s based on complexity.
Coordinate and carry out various Employee Engagement activities and opportunities in coordination with Plant leadership.

Education & Certificates: 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably with generalist focus.
