SUMMARY: The HR Partner will execute a strategy to optimize human capital that contributes to the achievement of business unit objectives. In close partnership with People Operations and the COEs, this position will partner with leadership on creating a safe environment for our team and leverage our Employee Value Proposition. This position will focus on the retention and development of our team members while also driving business results.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Strategy & Program Implementation

  • Provide input on and implement HR strategy aligned with the organization’s vision.
  • Assist in developing and implementing plans to optimize HR resource utilization.
  • Partner closely with COEs and People Operations to design and implement onboarding and orientation experiences for new team members.
  • Work with leaders to define workforce strategy and collaborate with COEs and People Operations for effective execution.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage grievances and work closely with the Labor Relations COE to address potential contract or collective bargaining agreement (CBA) violations.
  • Build team member networks to gather feedback and implement corrective actions in response to adverse business conditions.
  • Identify patterns of behavior that may lead to team member dissatisfaction, developing strategies to improve satisfaction and engagement.

Talent Development & Leadership Coaching

  • Play an active role in talent evaluation and development initiatives.
  • Provide coaching to support leadership development and aid in performance-driven decision-making.
  • Support the EVP and talent enablement processes by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing solutions.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (EID)

  • Champion EID initiatives to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) using available resources.

Program & Policy Effectiveness

  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and policies, adjusting based on ROI targets, team member experience, and evolving business needs.
  • Implement innovative programs that prepare the workforce for the future and address current business needs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Influence team member behavior to reinforce key safety and HR principles, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and HR best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
  • Experience: 3+ years relevant work experience. Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Standard computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and influence across a broad range of team members. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
  • Special Skills: Significant knowledge in HR strategy execution and ability to implement at various levels of the organization; Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people through workforce shaping; Strong analytical skills to drive efficiencies; Maintaining a high level of confidentiality
