Job Description Summary:
The Human Milk Tech is responsible for highly specialized tasks for the preparation, inventory, distribution and management of mother's breast milk. Both Human Milk (HM) and Donor Human Milk (DHM) will be processed for nutritional needs/additives in supporting the neonate in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Demonstrate competencies relative to infection control principles, appropriate technical calculation (weights and measures conversions, including metrics). Demonstrate knowledge of common medical abbreviations and terminologies, available formula products and human milk additives. Effectively communicates with members of the health care team.Responsibilities And Duties:
