Purpose:

In alignment with Company’s values and Country strategy, the HUB Study Medical Manager is responsible for ISS and SCS development, discussion and implementation. The Study Manager also collaborate with Clinical Operations to ensure high-quality studies and act as facilitator with HCP, providing scientific support and network when needed. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives while contributing to strategic decision through data generation and stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities:

The HSMM, in alignment with the strategic priorities of ViiV Italy and Netherlands, is responsible for:


1.Reactively supporting Key External Experts and other HCPs in:


a. Developing the study proposal up to the final international review, in collaboration with HMS and Medical Advisor


b. Implementing the proposal:

-Contract development and approval
-Protocol review
-Start-up activities


c. Monitoring and follow up of the approved study


d. Respecting the planned timeline and publication plan


2.Collaborate with Clinical Operation:
1. Ensuring that studies meet high standards of quality, compliance and timelines.
2. Acting as key liaison between Clinical Operation and HCP to facilitate study-related activities and communication.
3. Building strong relationship with HCP to promote engagement in clinical research.

Networks
The “Hub Study Medical Manager”:


a. Is a field based function.
b. Is reporting hierarchically to HUB Country Medical Director.
c. Works cross functionally with HMSs, office based medical functions and Clinical operations.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Residency and/or Post-doctoral training in a clinical practice/pharmaceutical industry setting- experience in Infectious Diseases/ HIV
  • Clinical studies management (CRA, CRO)
  • Degree: Medicine/ Pharmacy/ Biology
  • English: Advanced level
