The opportunity:
The Regional Segment Manager will lead and drive the strategic growth of the Data Center and Industry Service Segment across APAC. This includes developing and executing Go-to-Market (G2M) strategies aligned with global priorities, while ensuring regional and country-level implementation. The role involves building a high-performing, collaborative sales network across APAC country organizations to ensure strategic alignment, best practice sharing, and consistent execution. You will champion digital lifecycle services, manage multi-country accounts as unified entities, and ensure pipeline development, customer engagement, and budget achievement. Additionally, you will represent APAC in global segment coordination, ensuring seamless integration with global account strategies and cross-regional collaboration.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will develop and implement a regional segment strategy aligned with global service priorities and local HUB objectives, identify and prioritize key accounts; support sales teams in converting opportunities into orders, promote best practices and digital service models across the APAC service network.
You will lead/support the negotiation and signing of major frame agreements with top-tier data center clients and key Industry account across APAC.
You will build and manage a collaborative regional sales network, fostering cross-country cooperation, knowledge sharing, and joint execution, develop, coach, and mentor regional sales teams to build competency in data center /Industry service selling and strategic account management, facilitate internal training programs to elevate sales capabilities in digital lifecycle services
You will support the development of cross-BU service models to accelerate growth in the data center/Industry segment, collaborate with INL Segment Managers and Account Management to align annual targets and growth plans, ensure strategic accounts operating across multiple countries are managed as unified entities, with tailored local execution.
You will support joint key customer visits, strategic discussions, and long-term relationship development with hyperscale, enterprise and key Industry clients, oversee pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and budget adherence for the segment across APAC, drive adoption of Hitachi Energy’s standard tools (e.g., Salesforce, Installed Base Management) for data-driven decision-making in this segment
You will ensure adherence to applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold bachelor’s degree.
More than 10 years in sales, account management, or service leadership within the energy or data center infrastructure sector.
Proven success in negotiating complex service contracts and strategic customer engagements. Strong understanding of electricity infrastructure, digital lifecycle services, and data center operations.
Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-country teams to drive regional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales professionals in a matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel where necessary across APAC for customer and internal engagements.
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in English communication in English
