The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Fitness Coordinator who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Fitness Coordinator has the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Conduct Personal Training Sessions
Teach daily Group classes
Develop an evolving interesting array of fitness/wellness opportunities to motivate our guests.
Be available for flexible scheduling to accommodate occupancy and guests’ requests
Possess ability to interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in an outgoing and positive, but unobtrusive, manner.
Lead, direct and motivate Fitness Professionals and Attendants to perform duties at the highest level, ensuring daily operational efficiencies.
Establish, implement and maintain operational procedures for Tennis and Fitness Programming and ensure adherence to all such policies and procedures by the supervised staff in order to provide superior guest service.
Provide the Spa Director/Manager with timely updates on Fitness operations and assist in creating and implementing opportunities for improving guest services and programs.
Be an ambassador of the Spa, Salon and Fitness areas at all times.
Maintain adherence to and stay abreast of any additions or revisions to the State Rules and Regulations.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the inventories of operational supplies and retail items; ensuring optimal utilization/cost ratio and proper stock levels at all times.
Responsible for special projects in the Fitness areas including but not limited to: Fitness facility cleaning; capex requests, and delivery pickups.
Responsible for coordinating with Spa Director/Manager any facility maintenance concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and organization for the Fitness areas
Schedule and monitor staff attendance and performance with regard to occupancy, guest patterns and program needs.
Work with Spa Receptionists to develop best practices for managing service demands
Review employment applications and conduct interviews with Spa Director/Manager of qualified applicants.
Onboard new hires to policies and procedures
Assist Spa Director/Manager with progressive disciplinary action for supervised employees when needed.
