What the job involves:

We are currently seeking a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) Compliance / Business Disaster Response & Continuity Planning (BDRCP) Summer Intern Intern to join one of our Work Dynamics Account teams. The HSSE/BDRCP Intern position is a y key member of the HSSE/BDRCP Account Team that supports client needs for environmental, health & safety (EHS) related and business continuity management services.  This position will report to the HSSE/BDRCP Director but will be working within a team.

As an Intern in HSSE/BDRCP at JLL, you will:

  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA):  refresh of BIA file.  The BIA considers all departments (FM, Engineering, PDS, T&I, etc.) and reviews operational/impact risks and controls.  This will be an excellent opportunity to expose the intern to the various departments.  They will need to schedule/lead meetings, ask thought provoking questions and complete the BIA tool.
  • Business Continuity Plan (BCP):  refresh of the BCP document.  The BCP needs to be updated to include integration with the technology team and their processes.  This task will require collaboration with different departments and document development.
  • Emergency Plan Development:   refresh of Emergency Response Plans (ERP) for static JLL-staffed locations.  During a recent regulatory review, we discovered that these plans are outdated and may provide conflicting information when compared to the BofA’s ERPs.  Intern will work with static site teams to update individual ERPs.
  • Vendor EHS Pre-work surveys:  assist with development of EHS pre-work assessments such as pest management.  Use Microsoft Forms to create vendor-specific questions and track completion with Vendor Management.
  • Mobile Engineering Services (MES) Site Hazard Assessment (SHA):  MES SHA will be administered via Corrigo prior to the internship so that they will be able to personally respond to MES technician’s questions/concerns.
