Safety Specialist

You will be responsible for overseeing JLL health, safety and environmental risk management to comply with client and statutory requirements on Intel site

 This will include:

• Monitoring JLL EHS Compliance on site
• Monitoring and JLL contractor compliance on site.
• Reviewing Risk assessments and method statements.
• Assist in Accident and Incident investigation

Include the following but are not limited to as other duties may be assigned.

• Active participation in good catch program.
• Collate Good Catch numbers, SPA, SBO’s
• Review and upload Good Catches.
• Safety Behavioural Observations of all JLL personnel.
• Monitoring contractors  safety compliance
• Checking daily check lists, Ladder, mobile scaffold tags, PA Tags, hot works etc
• A Number of Daily walk of inspections .
• Pre task plan reviews
• Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
• SMBWAs participation.
• Checking Conformance documentation for all personnel to ensure site, company, and client expectations., manual handling, working at heights, abrasive wheels, confined space + equipment certification etc

Role Requirements

• •Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field; relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years in health, safety, and environmental management within facilities management or contractor environments
• Strong understanding of statutory safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, RAMS procedures, and incident investigation protocols
•  Valid safety certifications for manual handling, working at heights, confined space entry, hot works permits, and relevant equipment operations
• Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in safety management systems and MS Office applications, ability to conduct thorough inspections and behavioral observations
