What will you be doing in this role?
As an HSSE Lead Analyst, you will play a key role in further developing and supporting a strong, preventive, and data‑driven HSSE culture at HMH. The role combines operational support, strategic improvement initiatives, and analytical work — in close collaboration with manufacturing, field service operations, and our global HSSE community.

You will, among other things:

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams and field service operations to manage HSSE-related issues across customer locations and internal sites.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, identify root causes, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and further develop HSSE performance reporting, including KPIs, trends, statistics, and improvement proposals.
  • Follow up risks, actions, and learning documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, procedures, and standards.
  • Act as a trusted HSSE advisor across the organization.
  • Contribute to strengthening an interdependent safety culture.
  • Drive HSSE performance metrics, including leading indicators and risk mitigation effectiveness.
  • Use AI and digital tools to improve analysis quality, speed, and knowledge sharing and develop the HSSE department’s capability of using AI to improve efficiency in ways of working.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, handles complexity well, and combines practical HSSE understanding with a structured, analytical mindset.

You recognize yourself in the following:

  • You are analytical, data‑driven, curious, and able to identify both historical and emerging risks.
  • You have high integrity and do not take shortcuts.
  • You communicate clearly, persuasively, and engage well with colleagues and leaders.
  • You are comfortable working in a global environment and navigate cultural differences well.
  • You have a genuine interest in HSSE leadership, continuous improvement, and risk management.
  • Experience working with HSSE responsibility is of course an advantage, but we highly appreciate also experience that you can relate to be relevant for a HSSE role.
  • Experience with HSSE procedures is an advantage, but the most important personal attributes cannot be trained.

What can you expect in return?

  • The opportunity to influence HSSE performance globally.
  • Insight into a wide range of HMH operations, and global collaboration.
  • A meaningful role in which your work directly contributes to safer and more efficient operations – safety that means everything for many people.
  • Highly skilled and engaged colleagues who care deeply about the importance of HSSE and improvement.
  • Autonomy and the opportunity to shape improvements.
  • A work environment that values continuous development and modern digital tools.
