Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Learning and Communication Specialist to support the Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability function within the Grid Integration business unit. This role is pivotal in driving awareness, engagement, and capability-building across the organization through impactful learning programs and strategic communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Design, implement, and manage HSE and sustainability learning programs tailored to various roles and geographies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging training content (e.g., e-learning, workshops, toolkits).
- Monitor training effectiveness and continuously improve based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Support onboarding processes with HSE and sustainability modules.
Communication & Engagement
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to promote HSE and sustainability culture.
- Create compelling content for newsletters, intranet, videos, campaigns, and leadership briefings.
- Coordinate global and regional awareness events (e.g., Safety Week, Earth Day).
- Ensure alignment of messaging with corporate and BU-level strategies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with HSE, Sustainability, HR, and Communications teams across regions.
- Act as a liaison between BU Grid Integration and corporate functions to ensure consistency and visibility.
- Support change management initiatives related to HSE and sustainability.
Field Feedback & Impact Assessment
- Conducting interviews or surveys with site personnel.
- Reviewing incident reports and audit findings for training relevance.
- Hosting feedback sessions with regional HSE champions.
- Integrating insights into future training and communication strategies.
Measurement & Reporting
- Track and report on learning participation, communication reach, and engagement metrics.
- Contribute to internal and external sustainability reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Environmental Science, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate learning, internal communications, or sustainability/HSE-related roles.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and content creation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a global matrix organization.
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
